Site News Game Forums Automatically Created from the Xbox Game Library

We’ve just added a new feature to the GamingDNA Xbox Game Library that brings the library and our community forums closer together. Whenever a game is added to the Xbox Game Library, GamingDNA can now automatically create a dedicated forum for that game. This gives each game its own space for the community to discuss it, rather than simply being a database entry. These game forums are organised into A–Z sections underneath the Game Library Database, making it easier to browse and find discussions for the games you're looking for. As the library continues to grow, new game forums will automatically be placed into the appropriate alphabetical section. When you're browsing a game, checking its achievements, gamerscore or completion progress, you'll now find a Discuss in Forums button that takes you straight to that game's dedicated forum. From there, members can start discussions, ask questions, share experiences, talk about achievements, or simply chat about the game.

The whole process is connected to the Xbox Game Library synchronisation. When GamingDNA discovers a new game, its dedicated forum can be created automatically and placed into the correct A–Z section, meaning we don't have to manually create and organise potentially hundreds or thousands of game forums as the library continues to grow. This is another step towards making the GamingDNA Game Library more than just a collection of game data. We're building a system where the games in the database can connect directly to the community around them.

And this is only the beginning. As the Game Library continues to grow, we'll be looking at more ways to connect the data GamingDNA collects with the community experience.
