Which PlayStation Generation Was the Best Overall?

[eLdavis]

Every PlayStation generation seems to have something that makes it special. The original PlayStation introduced many people to 3D gaming, while the PS2 became one of the most successful consoles ever. The PS3 brought online gaming and HD visuals further into the mainstream, while the PS4 had a huge library of memorable games. The PS5, meanwhile, offers faster loading, improved graphics, and modern features. But being the newest doesn't necessarily mean being the best.
If you had to choose just one PlayStation generation as the best overall, which one would you pick and why?

PS5 hands down for me followed by PS1

PS3 was the best as it gave us the trophy system

PS2 generation holds the number one spot for many gamers. And this is because the library was endless, the developers took crazy risks, and you didn't need internet connection just to play a single player campaign.
