No miniature wargame release in 2026 has excited me as much as Trench Crusade: Carcass Front. I'm on record as an excitable man - I was pumped for Warhammer 40k 11th edition, delighted when Starcraft rolled out on store shelves, and indie oddballs like Sun Rot and Repent Ye Foolish Gods! show there's plenty of vigour beyond the mainstream. Carcass Front has the boundless creativity of an indie zine, delivered with all the polish of a best-in-the-business product launch. If you have any interest in skirmish wargames or heavy metal world-building, you owe it to yourself to check this one out.
