Have Graphics Become More Important Than Gameplay?

Some older games may look dated today but remain enjoyable because of their gameplay, creativity, level design, and replay value. At the same time, great graphics can make a well-designed game even more immersive and enjoyable when they're combined with strong gameplay. If you had to choose between amazing graphics and excellent gameplay, which one would matter more to you?
