Playstation Do you think PS5 Pro is worth it?

Sony's latest Playstation console is the PS5 Pro. A very good friend of mine wants to upgrade from his Playstation 4 but he's wondering if it's better for get the main PS5 or he should go for PS5 Pro.

What would you recommend?

I'm seeing same shops reporting a £200 different and for me personally I don't see £200 of better graphics etc.

No, even the standard PS5 isn't worth it; in fact, I think consoles aren't worth it anymore. Everything revolves around the PC—the only thing they could do is release mini-PCs—but anything that isn't a console just isn't worth it these days.

Paying crazy price for PS5 Pro just to get a very small extra feature is a waste of money. So, I can't waste my hard earned money on a little upgrade.

I don’t see any valid reason to buy a PS5 Pro—especially given the current trend of many games being ported to PC. It’s only a matter of time before even the exclusives (like GTA 6) are brought over to PC, so a PS5 Pro really isn’t worth it at all.

I'd recommend the standard PS5. It's a big upgrade from the PS4, runs the same PS5 games, and offers better value for money. The PS5 Pro is worth considering only if your friend prioritizes enhanced graphics and has the budget for it.
