So I got the below email before. Does it affect anyone here? I use Cloud Gaming but not that much it'll affect me I don't think.

15hours a month should do me.

Important updates to cloud gaming with XBOX Game Pass

We're making changes to how cloud gaming is included with your XBOX Game Pass subscription.

Beginning in Nove‌mber, XBOX Game Pass subscriptions will move to a set number of cloud hours each month, based on your plan. You can also manage or cancel your subscription through your Microsoft account here, explore all available plans here and learn more about how to cancel your subscription here.

What's changing

Beginning in Nove‌mber, XBOX Game Pass plans will include the following amount of cloud playtime:

Game Pass Ultimate: 15 hours each month
Game Pass Premium: 10 hours each month
Game Pass Essential: 5 hours each month

Additional options to purchase cloud hours will be available for players who need them — we'll share more details before this update takes effect.

Why we're making this change

We're introducing this model because the cost of providing cloud gaming grows as more people use it and play for longer. Moving to monthly limits allows us to keep offering the service while continuing to invest in its reliability and performance. We understand that for some players, the practical result is a higher cost.

What stays the same

The other benefits included with your Game Pass plan are not changing as part of this update. You'll still be able to stream supported games on your existing devices within your monthly allowance.

Thank you for being part of the XBOX community.

I don't use cloud gaming, I have a Xbox Series S so I don't have to worry about this. But it is a shame that Microsoft is doing this, they rolled out a good feature then pulled this stunt. x_X

The new Physical > Digital thing they made with being able to link your physical games digitally made it so you could play any physical game on your series S and I think that's actually why they passed this rule. People were extremely excited to be able to play their physical games they own on their Series S and I think Microsoft just checked and realized they do not have the infrastructure for that. At least that's my $0.02 and the penny is now discontinued so take it how you may XD
