What's the Scariest Game You've Ever Played?

With Halloween coming up, I'm curious about which games have genuinely scared you.

For me, horror games hit differently when you're playing alone in the dark!

What's the scariest game you've played, and was it the atmosphere, jump scares, or something else that got you?

These two—mainly because I played them back in the day—the first one is Forbidden Siren 2.


and the second was Fatal Frame


Both really scared me—mostly because I played them back when I was a 15-year-old teenager. SO SCARY! Even today, some parts are still terrifying; it doesn’t matter if you’re an adult—if you play them alone at night, you’re almost guaranteed to get a good scare.

Outlast is one of the only games I've ever actually screamed at. I've played a decent bit of horror games but this one had some really good jump scares, and the overall vibe was perfect imo
