Playstation Does the DualSense Actually Change How You Play?

Do haptic feedback and adaptive triggers improve games, or are they features you barely notice?

Can't stand all that, just regular triggers for me

It depends on the game, but I’ll admit that I find it much more comfortable using the DualSense—though I can play perfectly fine without it. On the other hand, I couldn’t play at all without the DualShock; for me, playing any game without the DualShock would definitely be extremely uncomfortable.

I think they genuinely improve immersion, especially in racing and action games. Feeling different surfaces through haptic feedback and varying trigger resistance makes gameplay more realistic, though the impact depends on how well each game uses them.
